Laser Hair Removal for Men
Why choose
laser hair removal?
Daily shaving, ingrown hairs, irritation, excessive sweating, and athletic or aesthetic concerns: body hair can quickly become a daily problem.
Laser hair removal provides permanent hair reduction without repeated irritation to the skin. It’s ideal for athletes as well as anyone seeking comfort, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal in their daily lives.
The main benefits cited by our clients:
- Long-lasting hair reduction
- Less irritation and ingrown hairs
- Time savings in daily life
- Comfort, hygiene, and aesthetics
The areas where men remove the most hair
Between the eyebrows
For many of us, the area between the eyebrows is one that we have to remove hair from very regularly.
Laser hair removal provides a long-lasting solution for removing unwanted hair and achieving a cleaner look, without the need for regular maintenance or the irritation caused by tweezing or shaving.
Beard Trimmer
Laser hair removal around the beard line eliminates unruly regrowth, reduces ingrown hairs, and helps maintain clean lines without the need for daily shaving. The beard always looks neat and well-defined.
This area includes the cheekbones and the neckline. We offer a service to define the permanent beard outline with a specialist prior to the hair removal session.
Back
The back is one of the most popular areas for men.
Laser hair removal offers an effective solution for permanently reducing dense, hard-to-manage hair and improving comfort and self-confidence.
Forget about painful and repetitive electric epilator sessions—with laser hair removal, you’ll have a smooth, hair-free back starting with the very first session.
Intimate Areas
More and more men are choosing laser hair removal for the intimate area for reasons of comfort and hygiene.
The treatment provides gradual hair reduction, with protocols tailored to sensitive areas. All areas can be treated safely. Laser hair removal replaces your razor or trimmer for a permanent and more precise result.
technology suitable for all hair types
Thick, dark, and deeply rooted hair: this is the most resistant type—and also the most common among our clients. At YETY LASER, we use the Candela GentleMax Pro, a world-class laser capable of treating even the densest hair while being gentle on the skin, even in the most sensitive areas.
1
The laser targets the melanin in the hair without damaging the skin (selective photothermolysis).
2
The heat destroys the hair follicle at the root, preventing regrowth without damaging the surrounding tissue.
3
The hair falls out naturally in the days following the session. The skin remains intact, smoother, and free of ingrown hairs and irritation.
How does the laser protocol work?
Hair growth follows specific growth cycles. The laser can only remove hairs in the anagen phase (still attached to the hair bulb). This is why, in order to achieve effective and long-lasting hair reduction, a minimum of 8 sessions is required to permanently remove hair from an area.
Visible results starting with the first session
Starting with the first session, hair density is reduced; approximately 20% of the hair will already be permanently removed, and the rest will grow back finer.
Why does Yety Laser offer unlimited packages?
Your hair growth changes over time. Hormonal fluctuations, age, or certain physiological changes can lead to the growth of new hair, even after a full treatment course. YETY LASER’s unlimited packages ensure long-lasting results, with maintenance sessions included, without any restrictions or unpleasant surprises.
What skin types are suitable for laser hair removal?
At Yety Laser, we can treat all skin types (6 phototypes)
Why do so many athletes choose laser therapy?
For athletes, body hair can become a daily nuisance. Chafing, sweating, irritation, ingrown hairs, and frequent shaving can interfere with comfort and recovery.
Laser hair removal provides long-lasting hair reduction without the need for regular maintenance and fits perfectly into a demanding athletic routine. It is particularly popular in sports such as cycling, running, swimming, and combat sports.
Laser hair removal is also recommended to prevent and avoid the development of pilonidal cysts. Please note: Laser treatment does not cure an existing cyst—which requires medical attention—and should only be performed once the area has healed. Learn more

FAQ
-
Is laser hair removal really effective for men?
Laser hair removal is particularly effective on men's body hair, which is generally thicker and darker. Results are visible after the first session, but several sessions are needed to target the hair at every stage of its growth cycle.
-
How does laser hair removal work?
Laser hair removal works by targeting the melanin in the hair with a beam of light that is converted into heat and destroys the hair follicle at the root, without damaging the skin. The hair does not grow back because the bulb is no longer supplied with blood by the microvascular structures.
-
Can you get laser hair removal on your beard?
Laser hair removal can be performed on the beard, the beard line, the neck, and the nape of the neck. Laser hair removal helps create clean lines, reduce ingrown hairs, and prevent irritation caused by frequent shaving.
-
How many laser treatments does a man need?
On average, a treatment course consists of at least 8 sessions, spaced several weeks apart. The exact number depends on the area being treated, hair density, and the individual’s response to treatment. Follow-up sessions may be recommended over time.
-
Is laser hair removal painful for men?
The sensation varies depending on the treatment area and each person's sensitivity. It is generally described as a feeling of warmth or a slight tingling sensation. The modern technologies used at Yety Laser incorporate cooling systems to enhance comfort.
-
What is the difference between laser, pulsed light, and diode?
The difference between laser and pulsed light (IPL/diode) is that the laser emits a precise, more powerful, and targeted wavelength, delivering more effective and long-lasting results. The laser beam from the Candela Gentle Max Pro is generated mechanically by a crystal. In an IPL/diode machine, this beam is generated by an LED lamp.
-
Are there any contraindications for laser hair removal for men?
There are contraindications for laser hair removal in men. Certain situations require a preliminary evaluation: recent sun exposure, specific medications, or skin conditions. A personalized assessment is conducted before any treatment begins to ensure safety and effectiveness. Additionally, laser hair removal cannot be performed on blond, white, or red hair.
-
What technology does Yety use?
At Yety Laser, we use the latest-generation Candela Gentle Max Pro Plus laser. This laser combines an alexandrite crystal and an Nd:YAG crystal. We combine this laser with a pulsed-cold cryotherapy device (Mecotec Premium) to cool the treatment area to -32 degrees, thereby improving results and minimizing discomfort.
-
Is the laser safe for the skin?
Yes, the laser is safe for the skin and internal organs when used with certified technology, appropriate settings, and a standardized protocol, as is the case at Yety Laser.
